At its June luncheon, the Delmar Progress Club awarded $1,500 scholarships to two Bethlehem Central
High School seniors – Rachel Drew and Phoebe Hosford (pictured here with their parents Tracey Drew
and Laura and Matthew Hosford). Rachel will attend Siena College School of Business in the fall and
Phoebe plans to study law or politics at Ithaca College. Not only did both recipients excel academically
in high school, they both were involved in community service, extra-curricular activities and sports.
Progress Club members were thrilled to honor these impressive young women in person this year and to
meet their proud parents.
Due to Covid, the Progress Club was unable to hold a scholarship fundraiser this year, but was able to
continue it scholarship program due to the generous contributions of its members.
